Introduction of Exchange Currency Rate-
An Exchange Currency rate is the rate at which one country currency will be exchanged with another country currency. It is also regarded as the value of one country’s currency in relation to another country currency. For example, an interbank exchange rate of 65 ₹ Indian Rupees to the United States dollar means that 65 ₹ will be exchanged for each US $1 or that US$1 will be exchanged for each 65 ₹.
How to Use Exchange Currency Rate in Microsoft Dynamics CRM-
Step 1: - From the CRM homepage, Click on the down arrow.
Step2: - A Dropdown with the list of entity’s will be displayed and then click on the Settings tab.
Step 3: - All entity’s in the Settings tab are displayed, Click on Business Management.
Step 4: - Business Management page will open up and click on Currencies.
Step 5: - All the currencies records will be displayed with their currency name, currency code and other details. Choose the record in which you want to update currency rate and click on it, or if you want to create a new record then click on new button.
Step 6: - Once you have open your desired record, click on the field in the currency conversion tab and input the exchange rate.
Step 7: - After making the changes in the currency exchange click on Save & Close button.
Step 8: -Open any form which contains the currency field, Enter the desired amount and then the base amount will automatically change based on currency exchange rate.
E.g.- (1 $ (United States dollar) = 65 ₹ (Indian rupees)).
