New User Interface- The new User Interface have changed the user experience tremendously. The new forms are different from the earlier forms. They are more clean and comprehensive. Classical forms are now unavailable. The ribbon is removed and is replaced with a top level navigation bar. Left navigation is now removed.
IPads and Windows 8 compatible- The new MS Dynamic CRM 2013 provides compatibility with the Windows 8 tablets and IPads. The basic idea is to provide full support for mobile salespersons on the go.
Quick Create form- This feature asks for only important fields for creating records in case of initial creation.
Auto-save feature- The forms will be auto-saved every 15 seconds.
Multiple browser support- The new CRM will support multiple browsers.
Outlook Synchronization- The mails, appointments, tasks, etc. will be synchronized with CRM 2013. Outlook has improved with better performance.
Unsupported legacy features- The legacy features like Dynamics CRM 4.0 plug-in, Dynamics CRM 4.0 client-side scripting, Dynamics CRM 4.0 custom workflow activities, 2007 web service endpoint, ISV folder support for custom web applications (for on-premise) are not supported. Also support is discontinued for Windows Server 2003 (for on-premise), Windows XP, IE 7.
Real time work flows- this will minimize the Plug-in development.
Business Processes- A user can understand on which stage he is working on. Multiple processes can be configured for each record type and also work flows to flow through multiple entities.
Duplicate detection removed- The inbuilt duplicate detection during create and update process, is removed in the new CRM. For duplicate detection new plug-in or scripting, etc. needs to be done.
